Science for Monks, Library of Tibetan Works Archive

My second web design project ever was to design the website for the Science For Monks back in 2000. Science for Monks is an educational program started by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama for the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, and funded by the Sager Family Group.

Today, Spring Mountain Business Solutions custom developed a Wordpress CMS website that aims to be informative, conveys the vision of the project, and highlights the monks and teachers involved. We are also constantly

Web design, communication technology consultant

Spring Mountain works with the project leader and the web designer, a Tibetan translator for the LTWA who lives in India. Hosting and installation of CMS software for the designer to maintain and consultation on technology opportunities to simplify and make more efficient the communication process are the hallmarks of this project. This involves understanding the visitor (the student, the general public, teachers, donors) and testing how different cultures communicate, all along preparing for the future by installing flexible and scalable open source technologies today.

"Many thanks to Spring Mountain for guiding us through major web transitions and providing the tools and resources necessary to advance our online network. Not only did we take the next steps with our website, but we were able to grow the local capacity of the program to manage our own online resources. Deliverables came fast and were responsive to specific needs - tailored to meet our unique international program. Great value and highly recommended service!"
